RECLAIMED FURNITURE holds so much hiSTORY

As many of you have heard by now, LOREC Ranch was honored to craft one of a kind furniture pieces for Ree Drummond, The Pioneer Woman's new Mercantile in Pawhuska, Oklahoma.  So much thought and detail was put into each furniture piece made for The Merc.  We wanted each piece to encompass Ree and her style.  We want to share each furniture piece and it's journey from idea to conception.  Check out this re-purposed little accent table that holds so much history.  We wish it could talk and tell us the 'life' it had before being given a new chapter to fill and be enjoyed for years to come in Osage County, Oklahoma.

LOREC Ranch loves creating one of a kind pieces for our customers & breathing new life into vintage furniture. These amazing turned table legs are 70+ years old. They were the perfect height and shape for a custom accent table we made for a small wall upstairs in The Merc.

This custom accent table is standing tall now on it's vintage legs. The top is made of reclaimed cargo flooring. The reclaimed cargo flooring has so much character with unique markings from years of freight traveling hundreds of miles. Lightly sanded, just before receiving it's lacquer finish.

Our master carpenter is amazing. He takes our vision and brings it to life. His family lineage of Old World master carpenters possess fine furniture crafting skills that have been passed down to each generation.  The finished accent table is detailed yet simple, rustic, but so beautiful. Each authentic mark on the reclaimed cargo flooring table top shows through with a clear coat of lacquer. The legs are our favorite detail though. They were thoughtfully distressed to show a bit of the raw wood underneath, some of the original smokey grey paint, and then finished with our LOREC Ranch midnight black.  Pull up a seat, but not just any seat. Sit and enjoy this hand carved, velvet upholstered chair by LOREC Ranch specially made for The Merc. Read a Charlie book, or two, on this custom re-purposed reclaimed cargo flooring accent table upstairs in The Pioneer Woman Mercantile.

LOREC Ranch would love to make your next piece of furniture to be enjoyed for generations to come.  Bring us your thoughts, sketches, stories, and ideas next time you're in Oklahoma City.
